Blendy Pens adds Blendy Blasta To The Mix

Next up in the Blendy Pens lineup is the Blendy Blasta. This new product is a mini airbrush kit. There are some packages that also include additional Blendy Pens to add to the fun. It stands to reason that Blendy Blasta will require a bit more supervision for younger kids but there is fun to be had by all.

You have to give the Blendy Pens company credit for really reaching beyond the norm to make their products more fun and more engaging for kids. Some say that products are getting to complex but I think parents should consider that not all activities are ’set it and forget it’. This means that parental involvement will provide a better experience for your child not just from the the and and learning that comes with a product like Blendy Pens or Blasta but from that fact that they get to do this activity with you.

Your involvement in things that matter to your kid will make a huge difference. The Blendy Pens product line provide that perfect opportunity.

Blendy Pens Birthday Contest

I recently used Blendy Pens at my daughter’s birthday party. Of course I needed a couple of extra sets but it was worth it. The idea was to have a simple art contest and award prizes for the winners. It was a huge success. The kids were broken up into groups so they could share the different sets of Blendy Pens. They worked for about 30 minutes so some children drew 2 or 3 pictures although they could only enter one into the contest.

At the end of 30 minutes all the art work are collected and the contest was underway. Of course some of the artwork was better than others but that was not the point. There was a small prize for each of them and all the kids felt good about their work.

It was a really fun activity and the kids enjoyed it. Blendy pens made a great party activity for my daughter’s birthday party and helped to keep me sane with so many kids in the house. Try it.

The Blendy Pens Commercial…Too Much Hype?

I love commercials, especially the ones for kids products. They do all the right things to ignite passion and imagination in a child. It is the reason your kids see a commercial play 20 times and then become convinced that they have to have the product. Their whole life seems to revolve around the next game or action figure. It’s really amazing when you think about it.

Well this is exactly what happened in my house with Blendy Pens. My kids saw the commercial over and over and over again and started a virtual campaign for Blendy Pens.  I was forced to watch the Blendy Pens commercial and got the usual, ’see mom, look what you can do with them’. I have been down this road before so I said, if you think that the Blendy Pens commercial is an accurate gauge of how those things work then you are wrong. I reminded them of all the toys and games we bought based on a television commercial only to find that the product did not perform same way. Even in the Blendy Pens commercial I was convinced that the art work had to be done by real artists and not kids.

I could not have been more wrong. I finally gave in because the price was low enough that I figured I could use as an opportunity to teach my kids a lesson. The Blendy Pens arrived and after breaking up a fight over who would get to use them first, my kids were hooked. Now I will say that their art work was not as perfect as what I saw on the commercial but Blendy Pens never said they would make my kids any better at creating art just that they could create their own custom colors and that they would have fun. Mission accomplished.

The Blendy Pens commercial does exactly what it is supposed to do. It entices children to want them. The Blendy Pens themselves do exactly what they are supposed to do, give kids hours of constructive activity. Worth the price of admission.

Blendy Pens Are Getting Mixed Reviews
Blendy Pens

Blendy Pens

If you done any research you will quickly see the Blendy Pens, one of my favorite kid activities, is getting mixed reviews. Blendy Pens are designed to allow kids to easily mix colors from different markers to create unique colors. If you read the reviews yourself you will see some that actually say that Blendy Pens don’t work at all and others who say they are the best thing since sliced bread. So who is right?

In a way I sure they are both right. Each person is entitled to their own opinion. On the Internet I have found a trend with complainers outranking supporters almost 4-to-1. Nonetheless, the whiners will whine. I don’t doubt that some people have had an experience other than what they expected. The comment that I seem to hear the most is that Blendy Pens don’t perform they way they do on the commercial. Duh… That is the exact nature of advertising in that it can greatly oversimplify things. While that may or may not be the case, the fact of the matter is that Blendy Pens will not leap out of the case and start drawing and blending colors on their own.

The average complainer typically has not taken the time to read the simple instructions that are included with their Blendy Pens, so of course, their results may be less than optimal. The other problem could be the source of the Blendy Pens. There are knockoffs of almost every successful product. It is hard to tell the difference between the real thing and the fakes. I suggest either going into a reputable store or buying them from a trusted online resource like Amazon. Amazon will have more varieties of Blendy Pens to choose from and offer some recourse if something goes wrong.

On the flip side, while they may be harder to find all the glowing reviews, they do exists. And what they confirm is that Blendy Pens will work if you simply take the time to use them in the way they were designed. Sounds pretty simple. Some of the positive reviews also indicate that parents and grandparents spent time with the kids while they were getting used to using Blendy Pens.

Take the time to do it right and your kids can have a blast with Blendy Pens.
